Oromocto Public Hospital reopens the Emergency Department on September 1st FREDERICTON, N.B. - August 31, 2009. The Oromocto Public Hospital (OPH) will reopen its Emergency Department on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 8:00 a.m. The OPH Emergency Department's hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. On May 20, 2009 a water line broke causing significant water damage to the Emergency and Diagnostic Imaging Departments resulting in $360,000 in repairs. "We are thrilled with the reopening of our Emergency Department at the Oromocto Public Hospital. The staff and physicians are to be commended for their teamwork and their willingness to accommodate the necessary changes during the repair process," said Nicole Tupper, Executive Director Zone 3 Fredericton, Regional Health Authority B.
