Donald J. Peters is the President and CEO of Horizon Health Network since March 2008. He brings much relevant experience to his new position having previously been President and CEO of South-East Regional Health Authority since 2000. Prior to coming to Moncton he served as the CEO for Central Regional Health Board in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Before this he was the Assistant Executive Director for Halifax Infirmary in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Diploma in Engineering from St. Mary's University and a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from Technical University of Nova Scotia. He holds a diploma in health care organization and management from the Canadian Hospital Association and is a member of the Canadian Council of Health Service Executives. |

| Jeff Carter |

Jeff Carter is the Vice President for Support Services for Horizon Health Network. He was previously employed as the Director of Medical Services Administration for the Miramichi Regional Health Authority. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton) and has also obtained his professional designation as a Certified Health Executive (C.H.E) from the Canadian College of Health Service Executives. He is also the Chapter Chairman for the New Brunswick chapter of the College. Prior to his position as Director of Medical Services Administration, Jeff held portfolios in risk management, quality improvement, health emergency management, health information management, privacy, procurement and materials management. He has been actively involved in various committees at the local and provincial level, including the Provincial Year 2000 Contingency Planning Committee (Chair), the MRHA Utilization Management Committee (Chair) and the MRHA Professional Advisory Committee (Chair). |
| Michael Chisholm |

Michael Chisholm is the Vice President Corporate Affairs and the Chief Financial Officer for Horizon Health Network. He was previously Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Chief Financial Officer for the Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation.
He graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Major in Information Systems. He began his career with various management positions in hotels and then joined a public accounting firm in Saint John. He later held financial and organizational change roles within municipal government before joining Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation in 1999.
Michael is a chartered accountant and certified management consultant with more than 20 years of progressive experience leading the financial and services sectors of large organizations. He holds a number of positions in addition to his responsibilities for corporate affairs and financial services. He is Treasurer of both Fundy Linen Inc. and Medbuy Corporation, Vice President of Metro Health Services Inc. and a member of the Pension Committee of the Pension Plan for Certain Bargaining Employees of New Brunswick Hospitals. Mr. Chisholm has always been involved in his community. He is currently the Vice- Chair of the Business and Community Development Committee of the Saint John Board of Trade and Treasurer of Saint John Industrial Parks Inc. |

Gary Foley is the Vice President of Professional Services for Horizon Health Network. Gary has worked in the health care sector for the past 17 years. He was previously employed as President and CEO of the Miramichi Regional Health Authority and has held this position since June 2004. He has been a member of the senior management team at the Miramichi Regional Health Authority since 2001 holding the portfolios of Vice President of Administration and Support Services and Vice President of Professional Services. Prior to his positions in senior administration, Gary was a practicing Speech Language Pathologist and Manager of the Speech Language Pathology Department at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Gary holds a Masters of Communication Disorders in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Maine, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Thomas University, and has obtained certification in the Canadian College of Health Service Executives. He is active in his home community of Miramichi as a member of the Rotary Club of Newcastle and Miramichi Greater Chamber of Commerce. |

Geri Geldart is the Vice President, Community Health and Nursing Affairs for Horizon Health Network. Geri is a Registered Nurse who received her Bachelor of Nursing degree and a Masters of Health Services Administration from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was previously employed as the Vice President Hospital Care and Chief Nursing Officer for River Valley Health. Prior to joining River Valley Health, she was the Vice President Patient Care at the Ajax & Pickering General Hospital in Ajax, Ontario and the Program Director for Surgery and Critical Care at Centenary Health Centre in Scarborough, Ontario. She has held clinical positions in pediatric and adult critical care in Halifax, N.S, and New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a member of the Canadian College of Health Service Executives, a recipient of the Robert Wood Johnson Award for Health Care Administration and the Award of Merit for Nursing Administration from the Nurses Association of New Brunswick. Geri has held lecturer appointments in the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Dalhousie University and the School of Health Records Administration (Halifax Infirmary). |
| Dr. Édouard Hendriks |

Dr. Édouard Hendriks is the Vice President of Medical and Academic Affairs for Horizon Health Network. He was previously the President and CEO of Regional Health Authority 4 in Edmundston and has held this position for the past seven years. He has also assumed the position of Vice President of Medical Affairs with the health authority since 1997. Prior to joining Regional Health Authority 4, Dr. Hendriks held various clinical and senior administrative positions with the Canadian Armed Forces and health institutions in Québec, Ontario and New Brunswick. Dr. Hendriks has his Masters of Health Administration from the University of Ottawa and obtained his medical degree from the Université Laval in Québec. He has a certificate in family medicine and a special certificate in emergency medicine, both from the College of Family Physicians of Canada, as well as being a Fellow of the College. Dr. Hendriks is a surveyor for Accreditation Canada and a part-time professor with the University of Ottawa. He sits on numerous national and provincial committees like the Advisory Council for the EXTRA Program of the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation and the Board of Directors of the Canadian Patient Safety Institute. |

Janet Hogan is the Vice President of Communications and Community Relations for Horizon Health Network. Janet was previously the Director of Community Relations for the South-East Regional Health Authority. Janet's work history includes extensive experience in clinical nursing and senior administration. Her career has included positions as a staff nurse in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, and General Manager of Royal Court Retirement Residence, a large private senior citizens complex in Riverview, New Brunswick. As the Director of Community Relations for the South-East Regional Health Authority, Janet was instrumental in developing this new department that focused on community relations, health promotion, communications and media relations. Janet is a registered nurse and has a Public Relations Management Certificate from Royal Roads University. She is currently completing her Masters of Business Administration, majoring in public relations and communications. |

Jean Daigle is Vice President of Public Health & Mental Health / Addiction Services.
Jean Daigle has 20 years of management experience and has worked in various Provincial Departments including Family and Community Services-Seniors Population/Adult Protection, Department of Education and Department of Health-Mental Health Division. Jean was responsible for overall operations of the Addictions and Mental Health programs for the SouthEast NB area within Horizon Health Network. Jean has a strong interest in the area of Total Quality Management having spent time training both management and clinical staff in this capacity. He is also a member of the Council of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick. He obtained his Bachelor of Social Work in 1986. In 2004 he completed the Public Service Management program and is currently completing his Masters degree in Public Administration at the Université de Moncton. |

Nancy Roberts is the Vice President of Health Services Planning, Quality and Research with the Horizon Health Network. Nancy previously held the position of Vice President of Planning and Professional Services for the South-East Regional Health Authority; prior to her position in senior management she was a practicing pharmacist with the Moncton Hospital and served as Director of Pharmacy Services. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from Dalhousie University, a Diploma in Departmental Management from the Canadian Healthcare Association, a Fellowship with the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists, and a Fellowship with the Canadian Health Services Research Foundation —Executive Training for Research Application. She is currently completing a Masters in Health Services Administration from the University of Montreal. Nancy has served as the NB Branch President, and National President, of the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists. She also was a member of the New Brunswick Premier's Health Quality Council (1999-2001), the NB E-Health Steering Committee (2006-2008) and is currently a member of the NB Primary Health Care Advisory Committee. |

Nancy Savage is the Vice President of Clinical Services for Horizon Health Network. Nancy previously held the position as Vice President of Patient Programs for the Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation (AHSC). Her work history includes experience in clinical nursing, workload, clinical information systems, project management, as well as extensive experience in nursing and senior administration positions. Within administration, her career included a position as a Nurse Manager in St. John's, Newfoundland and Nursing Director positions at both St. Joseph's Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was also the first Administrative Director for the AHSC Emergency Program, Ambulance Service, Ambulatory Clinics and the St. Joseph's Community Health Center. Nancy was also the coordinator for the achievement of the first AHSC Trauma Accreditation award. She is an active member and chairperson of prominent regional committees including the Professional Advisory Committee, Regional Utilization Committee, and Succession Planning Advisory Committee. Nancy represents her organization on provincial committees and is a member of the National Academy of Chief Executive Nurses. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Nursing Degree from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, a Masters of Health Administration from Central Michigan University and an Executive Training for Research Application Fellowship with the Canadian Health Research Foundation. |

Vicki Squires is the Vice President of Organizational Development for Horizon Health Network. She was previously the Director of Human Resources for the South-East Regional Health Authority and has held this position for 10 years. Vicki, a Registered Dietitian, began her career in Administrative Dietetics and held management positions in the Nutrition and Food Services Department at The Moncton Hospital. As a human resources professional, Vicki has an extensive background in labour and human resource management serving on several provincial Human Resource committees and Collective Agreement negotiating teams. Her education includes a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Moncton, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Foods and Nutrition from Acadia University (Registered Dietitian) Certification in Health Services Management from the Canadian Healthcare Association, and is a Certified Human Resources Professional. |

Dean Cummings is the Executive Director of the Upper River Valley which includes the hospitals in Waterville, Perth and Plaster Rock. He previously held the position of Administrative Director of Primary Care North and Director of Community Relations for River Valley Health and has held this position since 1992. Dean began his career working for an accounting firm for 5 years and then took the position of Director of Finance at The Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock in 1980. He continued in that role for the next 10 years and was then appointed Administrator of the hospital. Dean has had an extensive background in management and facilitation at various levels of the organization. He has been a member of the Senior Management team of River Valley Health, attending Board meetings and serving on numerous committees. He has worked closely with the five First Nations Communities in River Valley Health, Foundations, Auxiliaries, Multicultural Association and various community interest groups as well as serving on provincial committees. |

Margaret Melanson is the Executive Director for Saint John Regional Hospital as well as Charlotte County Hospital, Grand Manan Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital and Sussex Health Centre. Margaret has extensive clinical and administrative experience in the health care sector. She was previously employed as the Vice President of Clinical and Facility Support Services for the Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation and has held the management portfolios of Administrative Director of Therapeutic Services and Administrative Director of Rehabilitation for the Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation. She began her career as a Speech Language Pathologist at the Sussex Health Centre. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees from Dalhousie University in Halifax and an Executive Master of Business Administration. |

Susan Ness is the Executive Director of The Moncton Hospital and Sackville Memorial Hospital. Susan previously worked as the Chief Nursing Officer and Acting Vice President of Acute Care for the South-East Regional Health Authority. Susan's employment history includes extensive experience in clinical nursing practice, education, project management and administration. She has held positions as a staff nurse in various capacities including Burns and Plastics, Family Medicine, and Home/Palliative Care but has spent much of her career in administration at the manager and director level. These positions have been within the Extra-Mural Program, Region 2 and as facility administrator of the Sussex, Deer Island, Fundy and Campobello Health Centre. Susan has a Bachelor of Nursing as well as a Masters of Health Studies. She has held the role of president of the Nurses Association of New Brunswick, was the Vice President of the Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology, worked on the development and implementation of the Nursing Council for SERHA, and has been extremely involved in a number of other associations and committees. |

Nicole Tupper is the Executive Director of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital as well as the Oromocto Public Hospital. She previously held the position as Administrative Director of the Healthy Aging and Rehabilitation program for River Valley Health.
Nicole is a Registered Nurse who received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from St. Francis Xavier University and a Masters of Nursing from Dalhousie University. Nicole began her career as a staff nurse at the Oromocto Public Hospital. She has since obtained extensive clinical and administrative experience in acute care, rehabilitation and long term care settings. She has held positions as clinical instructor and lecturer with both the University of New Brunswick and Dalhousie University. |
